Meet Michael Ferguson

Michael Ferguson is a veteran, prosecutor, and attorney who has spent his career protecting others and fighting for justice.

Now, he’s ready to bring that same commitment to Tallahassee.

Raised in South Florida, Michael was brought up to believe in service, hard work, and standing up for what’s right. He chose to serve his country as an active-duty Air Force Judge Advocate, where he handled serious criminal cases around the world as both a prosecutor and defense counsel, holding offenders accountable while defending the constitutional rights of those accused.

Michael was later selected as one of the youngest Special Trial Counsel in Air Force history, an elite role prosecuting the most serious violent crimes. In that role, he traveled globally to fight for victims and deliver justice in the most challenging cases.

After his military service, Michael came home to South Florida to continue that work, representing individuals and families as an attorney at Krupnick Campbell P.A., taking on powerful interests and fighting for people when they need it most.

Michael is running for the Florida House because he believes our community deserves proven leadership: someone who will stand up for working families, protect public safety, defend our environment, and safeguard the values he swore to uphold. He’s never backed down from doing what’s right, and he won’t start now.

Deeply connected to the community he calls home, where many know him as “Ferg,” he attended Cardinal Gibbons High School, where he was Captain of the football and lacrosse teams. He went on to earn both his undergraduate and Juris Doctor degrees from Nova Southeastern University. Michael remains actively involved in his community, volunteering with veteran and environmental organizations and working to protect Florida’s coastline. Outside of work, he enjoys reading history, spending time with his siblings Nonie and Patrick, and playing with his dog, Finnegan Fitzgerald Ferguson.
